Dr. Eskenazi, a board-certified plastic surgeon, joins the practice having followed a rigorous path in education and surgical training through four states and another country. Along this journey he met people from all walks of life as he split time between school, research, volunteerism, and travel.
“I have never been treated so gently and so nicely by medical staff. Please tell each and everyone that I thank them! I was extremely nervous all week until I walked in today! Your staff did absolutely amazing with making me feel comfortable talking to me about my daughter getting to know me and everything to keep me calm! It was absolutely outstanding! And as someone who works in the medical field I know sometimes it’s a hard industry that sometimes gets a bad name. But you all were absolutely amazing I truly can not thank y’all enough for making me feel proud of what I look like! Thank y’all for the confidence back. As a young mom I’m hard on myself to be more then great full for this body as I was able to carry a child and breastfed, but you all really helped me more then I can explain. Thank y’all so much!”
After establishing a solid foundation in surgery at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, he completed plastic surgery training at Cleveland Clinic — the US News #2 ranked hospital in the country. There he trained across the entire scope of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, learning from world leaders in breast reconstruction, skin cancer, face transplantation, facial aesthetic surgery, and injectable fillers, amongst others. He had the privilege to serve as administrative chief resident and also to care for three recipients of face transplants at various stages of their healing.
As the first doctor in his family, he appreciates the importance of discussing complex medical problems in a language everybody can understand. He believes that the foundation for success in plastic surgery involves communication, trust, and meticulous attention to detail, and he looks forward to building on lessons learned during his life journey to deliver the highest quality of care to patients across the Charlotte region.
