Dr. Timmons is a board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body and reconstruction after breast and skin cancer removal. The originator of Southeastern Plastic Surgery in 1994, he subsequently merged with Piedmont Plastic Surgery & Dermatology in 2012 to provide more comprehensive care for patients in the surrounding area.
Dr. Timmons has performed thousands of aesthetic procedures since establishing his practice in Gastonia. He understands that, with surgery, a combination of art, creativity and science is required to create the best and most natural result. Known for the time he spends listening to patients, Dr. Timmons strives to understand each patient’s individual expectations, while helping them achieve their goals towards a more youthful, shapely, slimmer, and natural appearance.
Dr. Timmons believes strongly in giving back to the community. He has travelled abroad to Haiti, Nicaragua, and Bolivia throughout his career performing missionary plastic surgery to people in critical need and speaking at local university seminars. He is recognized as a speaker and teacher freely giving his expertise and time to physicians in the areas that he visits.
Recognized multiple times as the best plastic surgeon in Gaston County, Dr. Timmons has also served as the president of the Gaston County Medical Society. He feels very fortunate to be part of an incredible team of physicians and employees at PPS&D. He feels even more fortunate to have found a wonderful community to practice what he loves, plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Timmons currently practices out of two offices located in Gaston and Cleveland counties. His cosmetic team operates in a fully accredited AAAASF operating facility at the New Hope location and he has also served as an inspector of AAAASF surgical centers throughout the southeast.
