Born and raised in Gaffney, SC. Andrea Sparr is a general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology Physician Assistant with experience in both dermatology and plastic surgery. While working here at Piedmont since 2010 as a certified surgical technologist, prior to PA school, she discovered her love for surgery and dermatology and instantly felt connected to it. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Siena Heights University in Michigan and went on to complete her Physician Assistant studies at Yale University School of Medicine, graduating in 2023. 

Andrea takes pride in building trust with her patients, genuinely listening to them and taking every concern seriously. With her background in plastic surgery, she is also skilled in surgical removal of skin lesions and wound closure techniques.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and 3 dogs. She loves antique shopping, food tastings, and traveling. She is Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed to practice medicine through the North Carolina Board of Medicine. She is also a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
