With nearly 20 years in practice, Dr. Henry Wilson brings extensive experience in breast, body and facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to Piedmont Plastic Surgery & Dermatology. A third-generation surgeon, he is board-certified in plastic surgery as well as general surgery and completed a fellowship in breast and cosmetic surgery at Georgetown. A consistent innovator in plastic surgery, he is the author of several peer-reviewed articles and has lectured nationally and internationally in the field.

Dr. Wilson comes to the Charlotte area from Virginia, where he practiced for over 10 years at Centra Medical Group, a 500-provider medical group that elected him to serve as Chair of its Board of Directors for the past five years. He is also a past President of the Virginia Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Wilson truly enjoys partnering with each patient to achieve their goals, whether that is a single-visit procedure or a multiple stage cosmetic or reconstructive surgical journey. He is well-known for cosmetic “mommy makeovers” and natural appearing breast reconstruction. Most recently, he has been a pioneer in the restoration of nipple sensation after mastectomy.   Regional patients awarded him the “Best Bedside Manner” award for many years in Virginia, and he looks forward to meeting new patients in the Lake Norman area!
