Kristen Bush is a board-certified Physician Assistant practicing in surgical dermatology. She has a special interest in skin cancer detection, education, and reconstructive surgery. Kristen graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in 2011. She was awarded the Weaver-James-Corrigan postgraduate scholarship and continued to Wake Forest School of Medicine where she graduated with her Master of Medical Science in 2014. 

Kristen has worked with a Mohs surgeon since 2016. She is experienced in surgical dermatology with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of skin cancer. Kristen is proficient in wound closures to maintain the best functional and cosmetic outcomes. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the state of North Carolina. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the North Carolina Dermatology Association. 

Kristen joined Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology in 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, sports, home improvement projects, and spending time with her family and friends.
