Born and raised in Hendersonville, NC, Whittany Cole is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology. She obtained her certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board in 2016.  She obtained both her Family Nurse Practitioner (2016) and Bachelor of Science of Nursing (2010) degrees from Gardner-Webb University.

Whittany began her nursing career in Oncology and Hematology as a nationally certified Oncology nurse.  While completing her Nurse Practitioner Degree she also spent time as a medical/surgical nurse at Atrium Health-Cleveland. During her dermatology rotation in Nurse Practitioner school, Whittany confirmed her passion and enthusiasm for all things dermatology related. Prior to joining PPSD, she spent 8 years as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner in Shelby, NC practicing all aspects of dermatological care.

Whittany is a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Whittany and her family reside in the Shelby, NC area. Her passions include spending time with her family, fitness, reading, traveling and gardening.
