VBeam Pulsed Dye Laserin Charlotte Metropolitan Area
If you suffer from rosacea, broken capillaries, or other unsightly facial veins, there may be a treatment that can change your life for the better. The VBeam Perfecta laser offers safe, non-surgical, non-invasive removal of skin discolorations while simultaneously working to rejuvenate the entire complexion.
How do Pulsed Dye Lasers Work?
The advantage of laser treatment is that it can target skin cells selectively, eradicating damaged areas while carefully preserving adjacent healthy tissue. This makes it ideal for addressing the delicate regions of the face. During the procedure, the doctor flushes vascular fluids from the treatment area, at the same time delivering gentle, concentrated micropulses of intense energy to the blood vessels’ hemoglobin (red-pigmented protein). In time, the vanquished vessels are reabsorbed by the body. Another aspect of the VBeam pulsed dye laser’s appeal is that it offers a one-of-a-kind cooling mechanism that protects the skin during heating, ensuring the patient remains relaxed and at ease. The end result is a more even, attractive complexion.

That’s why we have meticulously assembled one of the largest teams of rigorously trained, board-certified dermatologists and laser specialists in the nation, offering you a broad range of qualified physicians to choose from so that you receive the right fit, both cosmetically and personality-wise. Despite our size, personalized attention is our forte. You are never just a number to us, but rather a valued asset to our community with whom we hope to forge a long-standing relationship.
Getting Started with Vbeam Pulsed Dye Laser Treatment
We invite patients in Charlotte, Gastonia, Shelby, Hickory, Lake Norman and surrounding cities to schedule a confidential appointment with one of our doctors. Out-of-town patients are welcome to contact us as well.
Upon meeting with your physician, he or she will help determine if Vbeam laser therapy is the right approach for your needs. This will involve examining your skin, assessing your medical history, allergies and previous procedures, and advising on the number of Vbeam sessions needed to achieve your goals.
What Happens After My Procedure?
Some patients experience mild swelling with skin warmth, sensitivity or redness after Vbeam pulsed dye laser treatment. This is within the normal range of reactions and will clear up within the first week. Ice, cold compresses and soothing antibiotic creams will help mitigate any discomfort.
In the days that follow, it’s important to protect your skin with sunscreen (with an SPF of at least 30) and to avoid using abrasive scrubs or cleansers that may irritate your face. Although very rare, certain patients may encounter changes in their skin’s pigmentation. Rest assured this is temporary; your normal skin color will return with time.
