Dr. Catherine Pointon is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive clinical and research experience in both private practice and clinical trial settings. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, she served as a Study Investigator at OnSite Clinical Solutions, LLC and has previously held roles as a Study Coordinator at PMG Research of Charlotte. In addition to her research involvement, Dr. Pointon provides patient care through Dermatology Practice of the Carolinas and Dermatology Associates. Her medical training includes a dermatology residency and an internal medicine residency at New York Medical College, along with a medical degree from the same institution.

With a research focus spanning acne, alopecia, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, and hidradenitis suppurativa, Dr. Pointon has contributed to numerous Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials, many in partnership with leading pharmaceutical companies. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, and the North Carolina Medical Society. Dr. Pointon brings over a decade of clinical research experience and a patient-centered approach to dermatologic care and innovation.
