Dr. Gu is a dedicated dermatologist specializing in a variety of skin conditions. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science with a Bachelor of Science in engineering. Dr. Gu went on to obtain his medical degree at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, during which time he completed a research fellowship in cutaneous oncology at the Institute for Cancer Genetics and presented his groundbreaking findings at the Society for Investigative Dermatology.

After medical school, Dr. Gu completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and returned to New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University for his specialty training in dermatology. He has remained active in the dermatology community and has presented at various national and regional conferences including the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York.

Throughout his career, Dr. Gu has demonstrated a commitment to advancing dermatology through rigorous research, clinical excellence, and compassionate patient care. He continues to pursue his passion for understanding complex dermatologic conditions and translating research findings into practical advancements that benefit patients worldwide.
