Dr. Nicole Seminara obtained her MD from the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with distinction. While there, she won the Clinical Epidemiology Research Prize for outstanding research, the Herbert and Faye Moskowitz Prize for excellence in clinical epidemiology, and the Nancy C. Bell, MD Memorial Prize in Dermatology for her groundbreaking research in psoriasis.
After completing her intern year at NYU and her residency at Stanford University, she served on the faculty at NYU for 5 years, including as course director and head instructor for the medical school dermatology curriculum. She was the youngest faculty member to ever be voted “Teacher of the Year.” Dr. Seminara led the residency Journal Clubs at both Stanford and NYU, and loves staying up to date with cutting-edge research, allowing her to provide the most advanced and evidence-based medical care for her patients. She is a recurring guest on Satellite XM Doctor Radio and an avid rower in her spare time.
