Phillip ("Phil") Talbert, PA-C, brings nearly 18 years of extensive experience in medical and surgical dermatology to our practice. With a passion for enhancing patients' lives, Phil believes that achieving clear skin and providing high-quality surgical care empower individuals to live their best lives.
Phil's journey in medicine began in the late 1990s when he arrived in Cleveland County as a family practitioner. After nearly a decade, he discovered his true calling in dermatology, where he found joy in delivering thoughtful, personalized medical care. His dedication and patient-centered approach have garnered him a loyal following, with patients traveling from as far as Charlotte, Hickory, Upstate South Carolina, and Lake Lure to seek his expertise.
Before embarking on his medical career, Phil followed a unique path. He grew up working in a veterinarian's office and even spent time as a cowboy, riding a spirited red roan horse named Chuckles.
Outside of work, Phil is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his wife, cherishing moments with his children, and eagerly anticipating becoming a grandfather.
He is an active member of his church community, a passionate University of Georgia football fan, and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and competitive black powder shooting. Phil is excited to bring his wealth of experience and compassionate care to our patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality dermatological treatment available.
